Privacy notice
This notice explains what [SELLER LEGAL NAME] ("we") collects when you use labd.thedevlabs.io and reserve a labd Fold, and what we do with it. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- When you reserve: name, email, phone (optional), city, PIN code, quantity, colour choice, and the browser's user-agent string. This is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database.
- When you pay a deposit: the Razorpay order ID and payment ID. Card and bank details go to Razorpay directly and never reach our servers. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to that step.
- Bot check: the reservation form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process your IP address and browser signals to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Server logs: Cloudflare keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, path, status) for security and debugging.
We do not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers on this site. The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme choice.
Why we collect it
- To hold your place in the first batch and contact you about it (performance of the agreement you asked for).
- To process and refund deposits (legal and contractual obligation).
- To send build updates about labd Fold to the email you reserved with. Every update has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing does not cancel your reservation.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone other than the processors named above (Cloudflare, Razorpay) and, at dispatch, the courier that delivers your unit.
How long we keep it
Reservation data is kept until your unit is delivered plus the warranty period, or until you cancel, whichever is earlier. Payment records are kept for 8 years as required by Indian tax law. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have your reservation and data deleted by emailing [SUPPORT EMAIL] from the address you reserved with. We answer within 7 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to our grievance officer (below) and, after that, to the Data Protection Board of India.
