Terms of reservation
These terms apply when you reserve or pay a deposit for labd Fold at labd.thedevlabs.io. The seller is [SELLER LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], GSTIN [GSTIN] ("we", "us"). By reserving you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice.
1. What you are booking
labd Fold is a pre-release product. As of the date above, the enclosure has been designed and exported for 3D printing and the firmware compiles, but no unit has been built, powered or tested, and one server feature (voice) is not yet written. A reservation or deposit holds a place in the first production batch. It is not a purchase, and it does not guarantee a delivery date, a final specification or a final price beyond what is stated in clause 3.
2. Free reservations
A free reservation records your details and place in the queue. We contact you by email before any money is due. Either side may cancel at any time.
3. Deposits and price
- The unit price is ₹4,999 including GST, for delivery within India. Shipping charges, if any, are stated before you pay the balance.
- The deposit is ₹499 per unit and is credited against the unit price. The balance is due only when we tell you your unit is ready to dispatch, and you may decline at that point for a full refund of the deposit.
- Deposits are refundable in full at any time before dispatch. See the refund policy.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We never see or store your card or bank details.
4. Timeline
The first batch is planned for late 2026. This is an estimate. We will send progress updates to the email you reserved with, including any change to the timeline. If the project is discontinued, every deposit is refunded in full.
5. Changes to the product
Dimensions, materials, components and software may change before dispatch as parts are measured and units are tested. If a change is material we will tell you before asking for the balance, and you may cancel for a full refund.
6. Quantity and eligibility
Bookings are limited to 3 units per person and to delivery addresses in India. You must be 18 or older to place a deposit.
7. Warranty
Delivered units carry a [WARRANTY PERIOD, e.g. 6 months] warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The warranty does not cover damage from opening the enclosure, water, or misuse.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [CITY OF JURISDICTION] have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your right to approach a consumer forum.
